Elizabethtown Area High School will honor the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces during a special Veterans Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 10:15 a.m. in the high school auditorium.

Veterans Day provides an opportunity to pause and reflect on the sacrifices of those who have served and continue to serve our nation, safeguarding our freedoms and way of life. The ceremony will bring together students, staff, families, and community members in a shared expression of gratitude.

Program highlights include:

  • Presentation of Colors by the EAHS Navy National Defense Cadet Corps Color Guard
  • National Anthem performance by the Elizabethtown Area High School Marching Band
  • Student readings and reflections on the meaning of Veterans Day
  • Remarks from guest speaker Dr. Karen Nell, Superintendent of Schools
  • Official Veterans Day Proclamation from Elizabethtown Mayor Chuck Mummert
  • Recognition of local veterans in attendance

All veterans and their families are warmly invited to attend. The event not only honors their service but also provides an important learning experience for students, underscoring the values of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism.
