Trauma Counseling

The Elizabethtown Area School District provides essential trauma counseling for elementary students dealing with emotional challenges from traumatic experiences, such as loss of a loved one, abuse (physical, mental, or sexual), or accidents like fires. Led by trained counselors from Empower the Mind, these services help students process their trauma, build resilience, and develop coping strategies. By addressing emotional needs early, we create a supportive learning environment that enables students to thrive academically and personally.
