Social Services

The Elizabethtown Area School District's Social Services team works collaboratively with students, families, school staff, and community agencies to help remove barriers that may affect a student's ability to succeed in school. Through case management, family support, crisis intervention, and community partnerships, the District strives to ensure that every student has access to the resources and services needed to learn, grow, and thrive.

Social Services may assist students and families by:

• Connecting families with school and community resources.
• Coordinating case management and support services.
• Providing crisis intervention and short-term support.
• Promoting family engagement and collaboration with schools.
• Helping remove barriers that may impact attendance, well-being, and academic success.

Students may be referred to Social Services when emotional, social, behavioral, family, or other personal circumstances begin to interfere with their educational experience. Parents and guardians who have concerns about their child's well-being or need assistance accessing support services are encouraged to contact a member of the District's Social Services team.

Home & School Visitor (K–12)
Works with students and families to address attendance concerns, develop Truancy Elimination Plans, and connect families with resources that support regular school attendance and academic success.
