District-wide Feasibility Study presented to Board

At the November 6 joint Buildings and Grounds / Finance Committee Meeting, Scott Vencil and Chris Barnett, of Crabtree, Rohrbaugh and Associates (CR&A), presented the results of the district-wide feasibility study. The report was broken down into four key areas:
  1. Demographics and Enrollment Analysis
  2. Probable Enrollment
  3. Building Capacity
  4. Educational Facilities Evaluation Criteria and Existing Facility Analysis

The first three areas were first presented at the October 16, 2012, action meeting of the board and reviewed briefly at the November 6 committee meeting. The fourth area - Educational Facilities Evaluation Criteria and Existing Facility Analysis - was covered in depth at the committee meeting. Following the CR&A presentation on November 6, the board announced that the full report would be placed on the district website.

No options were discussed at the meeting as the board stated the presentation was part of the ongoing information gathering process. During meetings in November and December, the board will begin to discuss options for the future of district schools. The full feasibility study can be found below. Do to the size of the document, the district has broken to document out by sections.
