May 7, 2021- On Friday, May 7, the Bear Creek School PTO raised close to $19,000 as part of the school's first-ever Fun(d) Run. The proceeds will help the PTO sponsor school activities and cover classroom expenses for the benefit of our students.
Turning fitness into fundraising and friendship, students at all grade levels took turns completing a half-mile loop around the Bear Creek School campus. Runners in the competitive division completed two or three laps depending on the grade level, while students in the recreational division completed one to laps at their pace.
By securing pledges from family and friends and then completing their run, the students were able to reach their personal goals and the school goal of raising $10,000.
Great job to the Bear Creek School community for working together to help our students! We love seeing our students having fun and staying active!
