EAHS students to be inducted Into National Technical Honor Society

May 19, 2022- Five students from Elizabethtown Area High School have met the requirements for induction into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). Elizabethtown’s honorees are as follows: Ella Dehmey, Advanced Health Careers; Emma Dixon, Commercial Art; Christopher Gomez, Commercial Art; Kylee Shopf, Patient Care Technician; and Shae Smith, Advanced Health Careers.National Technical Honor Society Inductees

The NTHS is open to students who come to the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center (LCCTC) with a 3.0 GPA or higher and maintain an “A” average in their CTC program. Members of the NTHS pledge to maintain the highest standard of personal conduct, apply themselves to continue a record of scholastic achievement, strive for excellence in all aspects of education, and endeavor to uphold obligations as a citizen of the community and the country.

Local chapters of the NTHS celebrate career and technology center students for academic achievement and a commitment to learning. The NTHS’s mission is to recognize student achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, and enhance career opportunities for career and technical students. Attributes of NTHS members include skill, honesty, service, responsibility, scholarship, citizenship, leadership, and knowledge.
