United States Air Force Master Sergeant surprises wife and children at school

April 21, 2021- It was a happy homecoming and family reunion for United States Air Force Master Seargent and Elizabethtown resident Christopher Clohessy on Tuesday, April 20, when he surprised his wife and children at East High Street Elementary School. Deployed in Qatar Reunionsince November 2020, Clohessy was to return to Elizabethtown later this month; however, he was able to fly back a week early to the delight and surprise of his wife Randee and children Logan (first grade) and Leannah (kindergarten).

Called to school for a meeting with the staff at East High Street Elementary, Mrs. Clohessy and her children were shocked to see their husband and father walk out of the school instead of the East High staff they thought they were meeting. In the emotional and surprise reunion, tears flowed, and hugs abounded as they embraced one another.

Now in his twenty-first year of service, Clohessy is stationed in New Cumberland. He has also served in Afganistan as part of Operation Resolute Support. Welcome home Master Sergeant Clohessy.
