January 20, 2023- The Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) selected five Elizabethtown Area High School choral students for its highly competitive (PMEA) District 7 chorus. This year’s festival was held at Solanco High School over two days in mid-January. Dr. Robert Bigley from Lancaster Bible College was the guest conductor.

Students were selected to this prestigious ensemble through a blind audition of choir teachers across District 7. Earning their way onto the all-star chorus from EAHS were Emma Creason (Alto 2), Scott Creason (Bass 1), Brendan Fritz (Bass 1), Olivia Gable (Soprano 1), and Claire Hanlon (Soprano 1).

The ensemble consisted of talented vocalists from high schools in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Franklin, Perry, and York counties. While at the festival, the students auditioned for a part in the PMEA Regional Chorus.
