    EASD held its annual staff recognition banquet on April 16 to salute employees for exceptional achievement and dedication to students and the district. In total, four faculty members and eight support staff members were honored for their outstanding service.

  • PMSS Group presents $5,000 to Elizabethtown Area Education Foundation

    The Elizabethtown Area Education Foundation recently received a check for $5,000 from the PMSS Group, Inc. The funds will be used to support foundation initiatives such as its educational classroom grant program, agribusiness program at the high school, and the career and workforce readiness initiative.

  • EASD to celebrate Red Ribbon Week (Oct 22-26)

    Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the nation. This year's theme is "Life is Your Journey. Travel Drug Free." In partnership with Elizabethtown Area Communities That Care (EACTC), all student's in the Elizabethtown Area School District will be participating in and celebrating Red Ribbon Week starting Monday, Oct. 22.

    At the beginning of each school year, Elizabethtown Area School District holds Back-to-School Parent Nights at each of its school buildings. Back-to-School Parent Nights are a wonderful opportunity for parents and caregivers to meet the teachers and administrators, to see their child’s classroom and special area rooms, and to learn first-hand valuable information to make the school year a success.

    The Elizabethtown Area School District will host Back-to-School Open House events at each of its school facilities prior to the start of school. Each Open House will provide a wonderful opportunity to meet teachers, get acclimated with the buildings, and prepare for the new school year that begins August 27.
