  • EASD to celebrate Red Ribbon Week (Oct 22-26)

    Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the nation. This year's theme is "Life is Your Journey. Travel Drug Free." In partnership with Elizabethtown Area Communities That Care (EACTC), all student's in the Elizabethtown Area School District will be participating in and celebrating Red Ribbon Week starting Monday, Oct. 22.

  • EAHS October students of the month named

    Elizabethtown Area High School seniors Erin Lownsbery and Ryan Minnich were named the Elizabethtown Rotary Club’s students of month for October. Lownsbery and Minnich were honored for their high academic achievement and extensive involvement in school, and community service activities.

  • EAHS to Present Comedy by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart: “The Man Who Came to Dinner”

    Elizabethtown Area High School will present its Fall Play – “The Man Who Came to Dinner” – on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

  • EAHS Orchestra to Perform Pops Concert

    The Elizabethtown High School Orchestra will present its annual Pops Concert on Thursday Nov. 8 in the Masonic Village Brossman Ballroom at 7 p.m. This year's concert theme is "Oceans."

  • Elizabethtown Area High School Announces Homecoming Activities

    EAHS's homecoming weekend is this Friday. We invite all students, faculty, staff, alumni, and residents of the greater-Elizabethtown community to show their E-town pride by cheering on the Bears as they take on Penn Manor High School in a Lancaster-Lebanon League showdown. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

  • Elizabethtown Area School District To Honor Local Veterans

    The EASD will hold its annual Veterans Day ceremony on Friday, Nov. 9 to honor our community’s military veterans. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m. in Elizabethtown Area High School auditorium.

  • EAHS Seniors Named Commended Students in National Merit Program

    Elizabethtown Area High School has announced that seniors Erin Lownsbery, Nathaniel McCloud, Grace Murray, Adrienne Nolt, and Ethan Shumaker have been named Commended Students in the prestigious 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program.

    EAHS seniors Abigail Alspaugh and Nathaniel McCloud were named the Elizabethtown Rotary Club’s students of month for September. Alspaugh and McCLoud were honored for their high academic achievement and extensive involvement in school, and community service activities.

  • E-town Students Named National Merit Semifinalists

    Elizabethtown Area High School seniors Sean Brown, Alexander Caylor, and Ryan Minnich are among 16,000 semifinalists in the 64th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. This prestigious designation placed Brown, Caylor, and Minnich in the top one percent of all U.S. high school seniors and among the highest scoring entrants in Pennsylvania.

  • Athletic Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony Set For October 12

    Elizabethtown Area High School will induct 2 former student-athletes and one coach into its Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, Oct. 12 at a special ceremony. To be enshrined that day will be Chris Campbell (Class of 1985) and Brad Limpert (Class of 1999), as well as the late long-time coach Donald “Jake” Shearer (Class of 1953).

  • Back-to-School Parent Nights scheduled at EASD

    At the beginning of each school year, Elizabethtown Area School District holds Back-to-School Parent Nights at each of its school buildings. Back-to-School Parent Nights are a wonderful opportunity for parents and caregivers to meet the teachers and administrators, to see their child’s classroom and special area rooms, and to learn first-hand valuable information to make the school year a success.

    EASD invites the greater-Elizabethtown community to a presentation titled: RETHINKING LEADERSHIP. This engaging evening is open to our parents and interested community members and will focus on student empowerment. It will be held August 21 beginning at 6:15 PM in the EAMS Auditorium

  • EAHS marching band holds camp to prepare show for new season

    The Elizabethtown Area High School marching band held its annual band camp the week of August 6-10. During the week, the members of the band came together as a full ensemble and worked on their halftime show.

  • EASD Announces School Open House Dates

    The Elizabethtown Area School District will host Back-to-School Open House events at each of its school facilities prior to the start of school. Each Open House will provide a wonderful opportunity to meet teachers, get acclimated with the buildings, and prepare for the new school year that begins August 27.

  • EAHS Holds Commencement Program for the Class of 2018

    Elizabethtown Area High School honored the Class of 2018 during its annual commencement program on Tuesday, June 5. Amidst much fanfare, the 307 graduating seniors, clad in blue robes, strode across the stage to accept their diplomas.
