Ring in the season by joining the Elizabethtown Area School District’s Music Department for four evenings of festive holiday music. At each concert, the district’s talented student-musicians will perform a variety of seasonal favorites beloved by all.
The faculty and administration of Elizabethtown Area High School recently took part in the national “Giving Tuesday” initiative, which is in response to the commercialism and consumerism of this time of year. Giving Tuesday is dedicated to giving back to your community.
October 17, 2017- The Elizabethtown Area School District will hold its annual Veterans Day ceremony on Friday, Nov. 10, the day before the actual holiday, to honor our community’s military veterans.
Fourth graders in the Elizabethtown Area School District recently got a hands-on lesson in the contributions agricultural and environmental sciences have on the local community at the district’s eleventh annual Agricultural and Environmental Science Day.
Elizabethtown Area High School’s Mini-THON Committee invites the community to attend its annual Corn Maze on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 5-9 p.m. at the Brubaker Farm, 1035 Union School Road, Mount Joy.
Elizabethtown Area School District will hold its annual Elementary Instrumental Music Family Night on Tuesday, Sept. 5, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Bear Creek School. This special evening is for families with children in grades 4 through 6 who have an interest in signing up for the school’s band or orchestra program.
The Elizabethtown Area School District will host Back-to-School Open House events at each of its school facilities prior to the start of school. Each Open House will provide a wonderful opportunity to meet teachers, get acclimated with the buildings, and prepare for the new school year that begins August 28.
The Masonic Village at Elizabethtown recently presented a check for $15,000 to the Elizabethtown Area Education Foundation to benefit the foundation’s educational classroom grant program. Over the past eighth years, the Masonic Village has gifted the foundation $135,000 for its grant program.
