  • PMSS Group presents $5,000 to Elizabethtown Area Education Foundation

    The Elizabethtown Area Education Foundation recently received a check for $5,000 from the PMSS Group, Inc. The funds will be used to support foundation initiatives such as its educational classroom grant program, agribusiness program at the high school, and the career and workforce readiness initiative.

  • EAHS December students of the month named

    Elizabethtown Area High School seniors Brooke Nicodemus and Logan Vogelsong were named the Elizabethtown Rotary Club’s students of month for December. Nicodemus and Vogelsong were honored for their high academic achievement and extensive involvement in school and community service activities.

    Ten students from Elizabethtown Area Middle School performed at the 2018 Lancaster-Lebanon Music Educators Association (LLMEA) Middle School County Orchestra Festival.

  • EAMS Announces First Trimester Honor Roll

    Elizabethtown Area Middle School principal Dr. Nate Frank has announced the honor roll for the first trimester of the 2018-2019 school year. For students to achieve honor roll they are required to attain a 92% average overall with no grade lower than 83% in any subject area.

    Elizabethtown Area High School seniors Adrienne Nolt and Jared Wolf were named the Elizabethtown Rotary Club’s students of month for November. Nolt and Wolf were honored for their high academic achievement and extensive involvement in school, and community service activities.

    Elizabethtown Area High School principal Maura Hobson, as well as assistant principals Robert Crick, Kathleen Griffith, and Dr. Jason Potts, have announced the honor roll for the first marking period of the 2018-2019 school year.

  • Bear Creek Students To Participate in Music Festival

    Fourteen students from Bear Creek School were selected to participate in the 2018 PMEA Youth Honors Band Festival, which was held Nov. 16-17 at New Oxford High School. This prestigious festival is for fifth and sixth grade band students and includes students from eight counties (Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York) in South Central Pennsylvania.

  • Elizabethtown Area School District 2018 Holiday Concert Series

    Ring in the season by joining the Elizabethtown Area School District’s Music Department for five evenings of festive holiday music. At each concert, the district’s talented student-musicians will perform a variety of seasonal favorites beloved by all. All five concerts are open to the public and free of charge.

  • Elizabethtown Area School District Honors Local Veterans

    Elizabethtown Area School District saluted 26 local veterans during its eleventh annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 9. The program afforded school officials and high school students an opportunity to salute local veterans for their service to the country.

    For a day, Elizabethtown Area Middle School traded in algebra, history, and life science for branding, logos, tag lines, slogans, and credit scores as part of Junior Achievement’s YES! program. YES! stands for Your Economic Success.
