Athletic Training Corner
Welcome to Elizabethtown Area School District's Athletic Training homepage. A certified athletic trainers job is to help prevent, recognize, manage and rehabilitate injuries that result from physical activity. As part of a complete health care team, the certified athletic trainer works under the direction of a licensed physician in cooperation with other health care professionals, athletic administrators, coaches, and parents.
The athletic training staff is contracted by Ortohopedic Associates of Lancaster Elizabethtown Area School District employees.

Todd Fisher (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Todd graduated from Salisbury University in 1997 with his Bachelor of Science Degree. He returned to South Jersey where he grew up and started working with NovaCare Rehabilitation at Bishop Eustace Preparatory School, where worked for 7 years. He continued working in local South Jersey High Schools. In 2010 he started working at Overbrook High School in Pine Hill, NJ. In 2014, he started dating his wife and was married in Oct 2016. In June of 2017, he was finally able to move to Lancaster and worked part time with Lancaster General Health until he was hired by Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster in July of 2018. He has been serving as the athletic trainer at Elizabethtown Area High School since August of 2018. He enjoys swing dancing, swimming, biking and doing home remodeling projects in his spare time.
Megan Miller (email@example.com)Megan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Eastern University in 2015.She attended East Stroudsburg University for graduate studies, receiving a Master of Science in Athletic Training in August of 2017. While in graduate school, she completed a research study titled, "Persistent Post-Concussion Symptoms in Former Athletes with a History of Multiple Sport-Related Concussions." Megan worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at East Stroudsburg North High School while in her program. After completing her degree, Megan began working for Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster as an assistant athletic trainer. Before starting at Elizabethtown Area High School in August of 2019, Megan held a dual role with the company as the athletic trainer for Lititz Christian School and as an intake in the physician's offices. Megan has provided athletic training services for a number of different roles within the company, including Spooky Nook Sports, USA field hockey, PA Classics Soccer, Firebirds Ice Hockey, and F&M Rugby. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, music, and spending time with her family."
