A Bit About Me

I graduated from Shippensburg University in 1994, and I'm working toward my Master's Degree at Millersville University. Before my children were born, I taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Linglestown Elementary in the Central Dauphin School District. I was a long term substitute here in Elizabethtown for three years, before beginning a contracted teaching position in 2019-2020. I am beginning my fifth year at EASD, and my third year at Bear Creek. I taught 4th grade ELA, Social Studies, Math, and Science two years ago, and last year I taught all four subjects in 5th grade. I'm excited to move to sixth grade with this group of students, and to focus on teaching just two subjects (ELA and Social Studies) this year. It is such a joy to watch these students grow and mature over the years. On a personal note, I have been married to my husband, Ryan for almost 24 years. We have a 16 year old son named Kaiden, and a 13 year old daughter named Trinity. We live in the Hempfield area. I enjoy running, skiing, biking, hiking, and reading.
