SchoolCafé (online lunch account payment service)
SchoolCafé
The Elizabethtown Area School District uses SchoolCafé as its online meal management service. SchoolCafé can be used for online meal payments and the free/reduced lunch program (PLEASE NOTE: the District will still use SchoolPay for school and athletic fees).
SchoolCafé is a safe and secure way for parents to monitor student(s) lunch account balance, view meal purchases and payments, and set up low-balance email alerts.

How it Works
EASD no longer uses the payment system SchoolPay for school meal accounts (PLEASE NOTE: the District will still use SchoolPay for school and athletic fees). We have moved to a new cashier and payment system. This school year we will be using Primero Edge system (which is part of the state’s system for free/reduced applications) as the new cashier system and they work with School Café as their payment system. School Café is like Venmo, you will make your payment to them, and they will send the money to us. EASD will house all the money. Below are a few important points you need to know about SchoolCafé:
- If your student had money in the old system, it has been moved to the new one.
- If your family’s accounts were linked together, we had to unlink the accounts and we are not able to link them with the new system.
- If you would like to put a spending limit or any restriction on your students account, please email EASD Food Service at foodservice@etownschools.org, 717-367-1521, ext. 21060. This is good for the current school year and will need to be redone each year.
- If you have any questions about your student account, refunds or transfer to a different students account please reach out to EASD Food Service at foodservice@etownschools.org, 717-367-1521, ext. 21060. Please don’t contact School Café.
- If you have questions on setting up your account or technical difficulties, please reach out to School Café 1-855-729-2328
- If you would rather not use School Café to make your payment you can still send in cash/check with your student to give to the cashier. We ask you to place it in an envelope and put the students’ name in the Memo spot. If you would like to write one check for the whole family let us know what amount you would like in each student’s account.

SchoolCafé Mobile App
SchoolCafé offers a free mobile app compatible with most Android and iOS phones. Using the app, you are able to pay online, view and monitor student meal purchases, set purchase restrictions, and apply for free & reduced meals. Download it in the app store or get it on Google play.
