Breakfast Program

Starting with the first day of school, all Elizabethtown Area School District students will be eligible for one complimentary breakfast daily, regardless of a family's ability to pay. The District will charge full price for second breakfasts and a la carte snacks. Please note this state-sponsored program only includes breakfast. School lunches will continue to be offered at the regular price or the free or reduced price for those students enrolled in the Free and Reduced Price Meal program.
 
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania pays for the free breakfast program costs, not local school districts. Therefore, the school district allocates NONE of its local, state, or federal revenues to fund this state-sponsored program, as the Commonwealth supports it in its entirety. The complimentary breakfast program will run through the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
