Emergency Communications
The Elizabethtown Area School District understands the importance of keeping our families informed with time sensitive, important information. That's why we leverage the School Messenger automated messaging system to ensure you're always up-to-date on crucial information. Whether it's schedule changes, emergency alerts, or winter weather announcements, we've got you covered.
School Messenger offers versatile communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and text messages. But to ensure you receive these updates, we need your help! It all starts with accurate contact information in our Student Information System.
To update your contact details, simply reach out to Becky Greenly at becky_greenly@etownschools.org or (717) 361-4893. We'll make sure your phone numbers, text numbers, and email addresses are current and ready to receive important messages.
While School Messenger seamlessly syncs with phone numbers and emails, receiving text messages requires an extra step. Due to a Federal Communication Commission mandate, you'll need to send a one-time text of YES or Y to 67587 from the device listed in our Student Information System. This ensures you'll receive text messages from The District without interruption.
Already receiving text messages from us? You're all set! No need to take any further action.
Stay connected with The District through School Messenger, your trusted source for timely updates and essential information.
