Buildings and Grounds

The Buildings & Grounds Department is responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and well-functioning learning environments across the Elizabethtown Area School District. The department oversees the maintenance and operation of all district buildings, grounds, athletic facilities, parking lots, sidewalks, and roadways.

Through the work of our maintenance, custodial, grounds, and warehouse staff, the department supports daily school operations by maintaining district facilities, caring for campus grounds, managing building systems, and ensuring schools remain safe and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.

The Elizabethtown Area School District encompasses seven school buildings and approximately 132 acres of campus property. The Buildings & Grounds team is committed to preserving these facilities and providing environments that support teaching, learning, and community engagement.
