Student Artists Shine at Twisted Bine Exhibit and Meet-the-Artist Night

A celebration of student creativity took place on Saturday, May 17, as Elizabethtown Area High School art students were featured at Twisted Bine's "Meet the Artist" night in Mount Joy. The event was part of a month-long exhibition showcasing selected works from Drawing 3 and Painting 1–3 classes.

During this special evening, community members had a chance to gather at the Twisted Bine to view the artwork and connect personally with the student artists. Attendees heard firsthand from the students about their inspirations, creative processes, and the stories behind their work.

Exhibiting student artists included:

  • Haylie Douglas
  • Lauren Eckroth
  • Rowan Hess
  • Kennadie Jock
  • Djemba N'Dikwe
  • Hailey Oberholtzer
  • Jade Richards
  • Kellen Walker
  • Jaden Weimer
  • Harley Winters

The artwork on display reflected both strong technical development and meaningful personal expression. Through various themes and techniques, the students demonstrated originality and creative risk-taking.

A heartfelt thank you to Twisted Bine for hosting this special event. This community collaboration offered a powerful reminder of the importance of celebrating the arts in public education. The high school art department is led by art teachers Jenna Hoffman and Alison Keener.
