The excitement of a new school year was in the air as students across the Elizabethtown Area School District returned to the classroom today. From our youngest learners entering kindergarten to our seniors embarking on their final year and all grade levels in between, this day marked the beginning of another exciting chapter in their educational journey. This year, enrollment at the secondary level (grades 6-12) stands at 2,106 students, while 1,449 students are enrolled at the elementary level (grades K-5).

EASD is committed to preparing all our students for their future through our Life Ready Model, our academic platform offering a comprehensive curriculum from kindergarten through twelfth grade. The Life Ready Model empowers students with personalized learning experiences, tailored to their unique interests, skills, and future ambitions. As we strive to foster a Culture of Belonging, our students are encouraged to develop healthy relationships with peers, make responsible decisions, and thrive in a supportive environment that sets them up for success as adults.

We are proud of our strong partnerships with parents and the broader community. Our Parents as Partners and Community as Partners initiatives are vital in creating a collaborative environment where our students can flourish. Special recognition goes to our PTOs, Music Booster Club, and Big E Booster Club, which provide critical support to our student-athletes, musicians, and thespians. Their continued encouragement and involvement help elevate the student experience beyond the classroom.
