Elizabethtown Students Celebrate Music In Our Schools Month with Collaborative Workshop
In celebration of March being Music In Our Schools Month, Elizabethtown Area High School's Jazz Band and the Bear Creek School's fourth and fifth-grade elementary bands came together for a special collaborative music workshop.
Led by high school band director Kristin Novak, the jazz band joined forces with the Bear Creek School Band, directed by Elizabeth Peters, to mentor and inspire younger musicians. The workshop provided elementary students with the opportunity to learn from experienced performers while fostering a strong sense of musical community across grade levels.
This engaging experience highlighted the power of music education and the importance of keeping music alive in our schools.
