Eleven talented fifth-grade students from Bear Creek School proudly represented the Elizabethtown Area School District at the 2025 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 7 Elementary Song Fest. The prestigious choral festival was held on Saturday, March 29, at Mechanicsburg Area Middle School.

The following Bear Creek students were selected to participate: Ainsley Shelton, Serenity Schwartz, Rhys McFadden, Bennett Montgomery, Cole McFeaters, Izzy Bartl, Landon Skupny, Nicolas Garcia, Kyla Rice, Levin McMullin, and Madelynn Bowers.

Under the direction of guest conductor Mr. Matt Carlson and hosted by Mrs. Alice Broadway, this year’s festival brought together an impressive ensemble of 243 young vocalists from 46 elementary schools across eight counties in Central Pennsylvania. The event provided students with the opportunity to refine their vocal technique, perform challenging repertoire, and collaborate with outstanding peers from across the region.
