Elizabethtown Area Middle School held its highly anticipated PTO Color Run today, bringing students, faculty, families, and the community together for a day of fun, fitness, friendship, and fundraising. The event, which has already raised over $19,000 toward a $30,000 goal, still welcomes additional donations. All proceeds support PTO-sponsored programs that enrich student experiences throughout the school year.
Today's Color Run was a non-competitive run where participants made their way through the course while being doused with colorful powder by parent volunteers at designated stations along the way. The focus was on camaraderie, energy, and celebration rather than finishing times.
Students ran close to a one-mile loop, passing through various color stations to emerge coated in bright hues. In addition to the run, the day featured games, contests, crafts, and opportunities for fellowship, further contributing to the community spirit. The event showcased the school’s enthusiasm and unity while raising funds for a worthy cause.
Donations remain open, and contributions will help the PTO reach its $30,000 goal to continue supporting student programs.
