The Lancaster-Lebanon Music Educators Association (LLMEA) proudly selected 14 talented musicians from Elizabethtown Area High School to participate in the 2025 LLMEA County Band North Festival. The event took place on February 1, 2025, at Lebanon High School and featured 179 outstanding student musicians from schools across Lancaster and Lebanon counties.
Under the direction of Dr. Tyler Austin (Old Dominion University) and Dr. Jim Colonna (Messiah University), students had the opportunity to refine their musicianship and perform alongside their peers in this prestigious ensemble.
The following EAHS students were selected by their directors to represent the school:
- Flute: Elaina Smith, Hayden Simione, Lillian Ross
- Clarinet: Olivia Black
- Alto Saxophone: Lex Hershock
- Tenor Saxophone: Luke Popdan
- Baritone Saxophone: Eleyas Kettering
- Bassoon: Marley Stauffer, Morgan Newpower
- Trumpet: Nick Kreider, Ryan Siler
- Trombone: Noa Williams, Sophie Schaffer, Scott Creason
- Tuba: Jacob Schaber
LLMEA is an organization comprised of music educators from public and private schools in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. It is dedicated to fostering the musical arts through initiatives such as the annual music festivals for high school band, chorus, and orchestra students, as well as middle school ensembles.
