Elizabethtown Area High School is proud to announce that its 2024 fall play, Arsenic and Old Lace, has received several nominations from the Hershey Theatre Apollo Awards.
The nominations are as follows:
- Outstanding Play: Arsenic and Old Lace
- Outstanding Lead Actor in a Play: Scott Creason, grade 12, for his captivating performance as Jonathan Brewster
- Outstanding Lead Actress in a Play: Jacqui Anderton, grade 11, for her stellar portrayal of Abby Brewster
- Outstanding Lead Actress in a Play: Evelyn Kopp, grade 10, for her exceptional role as Martha Brewster
The Hershey Theatre Apollo Awards celebrate excellence in high school theater across Central Pennsylvania, recognizing the talent, dedication, and creativity of the students and staff involved in the productions. EAHS's four nominations highlight the Arsenic and Old Lace cast and crew's outstanding achievements in bringing this classic production to life.
The winners will be announced at the Giant Center at the Apollo Awards Ceremony on Sunday, May 18. This event serves as an inspiring showcase of high school theatrical talent and a celebration of the performing arts.
