Elizabethtown Area High School is proud to announce the appointment of Braydon Shuck as the new Varsity Head Coach for the Boys’ Soccer program for the 2025 season. Coach Shuck is no stranger to the program, having served as the Varsity Assistant Coach and Volunteer Coach for the past four seasons under the guidance of former head coach James Sostack.
In addition to his high school coaching experience, Coach Shuck leads the U16 Boys team for Etown United, providing middle and high school players the opportunity to enhance their skills during the spring season. He has also worked with First Touch Soccer Academy and currently holds a U.S. Soccer “E” Coaching License.
As a former player, Coach Shuck was a standout member of the Elizabethtown Boys’ Soccer program. He was team captain his senior year, leading the team to its first-ever State Tournament appearance and a Runner-Up finish. During his playing career, Coach Shuck contributed to two League Championships and three Section Championships. He went on to play collegiate soccer at Lebanon Valley College, where he was an ECAC Champion, Conference Finalist, and a member of the team’s Leadership Council every year. He graduated from LVC with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Leadership and Ethics.
Coach Shuck’s vision for the program is rooted in developing champions on the field and preparing players to succeed in life beyond soccer. He hopes to inspire his team with the same valuable life skills his own coaches instilled in him, fostering leadership, character, and resilience.
The Elizabethtown Area High School athletic family congratulates Coach Shuck on his new role as Varsity Head Coach and looks forward to an exciting 2025 season ahead.
