EAHS Chamber Choir Performs National Anthem at Lancaster Barnstormers Game

Elizabethtown Area High School's Chamber Choir had the honor of performing the National Anthem at the opening of the Lancaster Stormers game held at Clipper Stadium on September 10, 2024. The talented choir, under the direction of high school choral teacher Benjamin Fortier, performed The Star-Spangled Banner.

The Chamber Choir consists of a select group of student vocalists, known for their exceptional skill and dedication to their craft. Choir members include Scott Creason, Adrienne Crick, Stephen Fasick, Brendan Fritz, Juliana Gillette, Sadie Givens, Emma Griffith, Connor Hearn, Avery Heckman, Anna Hollinger, Erin Horst, Allie Hynum, Evie Kopp, Audra Kuntz, Alexa Landon, Grayson Marz, JJ McBride, James Mott, Kosette Mott, Elyssa Nolt, Matthew Phillips, Connor Saxon, Hayden Simione, Josie Sirinides, Elaina Smith, Marley Stauffer, Dawn Wagner, and Makayla Weaver.

As an advanced vocal ensemble, the Chamber Choir performs a diverse repertoire, ranging from classical to contemporary music, at school events, local concerts, and community functions. Their performance at Clipper Stadium highlights their ongoing commitment to choral excellence and community engagement.

At Elizabethtown Area High School, the music department is dedicated to providing students with rich opportunities to explore and develop their musical talents. The performance of the Chamber Choir at a local event like the Stormers game not only showcases their musical abilities but also underscores the value of arts education in enhancing student experiences and contributing to a vibrant community.
