Bainbridge Elementary School held its annual Thanksgiving food drive from November 4 to November 15, to support local families in need during the holiday season. The school community donated non-perishable food items, including essentials like cereal, soup, canned vegetables, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, and mashed potatoes.
The response was extraordinary. With a goal of collecting 400 items, the Bainbridge community surpassed expectations by gathering 779 items—nearly doubling the original target. This incredible show of generosity highlights the compassion and unity that defines the Bainbridge Elementary family.
The donated items will provide Thanksgiving meal packages for eight local families, including 24 children, ensuring a brighter and more joyful holiday for those facing challenges. This initiative exemplifies Bainbridge Elementary's commitment to Community Connections by allowing students to actively engage and make a meaningful impact in their school and the broader community.
Bainbridge Elementary extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the food drive's success. Your kindness is making a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors this Thanksgiving season.
