Elizabethtown Area School District staff came together today for Opening Day for Staff, beginning the 2026–27 school year with a shared focus: keeping students at the center of every decision.

As the new school year begins, EASD remains committed to what matters most—building coherent systems, creating meaningful learning experiences, strengthening teacher-student relationships, and working intentionally together so every student has what they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

One of the day’s most meaningful moments came from EASD students, who welcomed staff and shared why they are proud to be Elizabethtown Bears. Their energy and Bear pride offered a powerful reminder of the purpose behind the work ahead.
