Elizabethtown Area Middle School Recognizes November Students of the Month

Elizabethtown Area Middle School is proud to recognize its November Students of the Month, celebrating students who demonstrate exceptional initiative, responsibility, and personal growth. Each month, teachers reflect on the students in their teams through the lens of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, identifying those who exemplify a particular habit or who have shown remarkable growth in that area.

For November, the focus was on Habit 2 – Begin With the End in Mind, which encourages students to set meaningful goals and envision the future they want to create. Students who practice this habit make purposeful decisions, keep their long-term vision in focus, and take deliberate steps each day toward achieving their aspirations. They recognize that thoughtful planning and intentional choices pave the way for success in school, relationships, and life.

This program is part of the school’s Leader in Me initiative, which emphasizes developing leadership skills, fostering healthy peer relationships, and encouraging students to take ownership of their choices throughout the school year.
