The Elizabethtown Area High School Theater Department is thrilled to announce its fall play, Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic, written by Matt Cox. Performances will take place on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Elizabethtown Area High School auditorium.
A clever and fast-paced comedy for anyone who has ever felt like they weren’t the hero, Puffs tells the story of a group of well-meaning, loyal students trying to make it through seven years at a very magical school while a certain famous boy wizard steals the spotlight. Told from the perspective of the “Puffs,” this heartfelt parody celebrates friendship, courage, and finding your place in the world, even if you’re not destined to save it.
Audiences can expect magic spells, epic battles, awkward dances, and a whole lot of laughter as the Puffs navigate their own version of the most famous seven years in wizarding history.
“Puffs (Two Act for Young Wizards)” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com.
Join us for an evening of magic, laughter, and Puff pride!
