Elizabethtown Area High School is proud to recognize its June Rotary Club Students of the Month: Sienna Tyson and Francis Burke. This honor celebrates students who exemplify excellence in academics, leadership, service, and involvement within the school and greater community.

Sienna is the daughter of Jonathan and Michelle “Missy” Tyson of Elizabethtown.
Sienna is an accomplished and academically driven student who has demonstrated excellence in both academics and extracurricular involvement throughout high school. She is a member of the National Honor Society, an organization that recognizes students who exemplify the four pillars of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
Her academic honors include the President’s Award for Educational Excellence, recognition as an AP Scholar with Distinction, the Honors U.S. History Award, and the Music Theory Award.
Within the school community, Sienna serves as Concert Master for the school orchestra and also performs with the Chamber Orchestra and Pit Orchestra for the high school spring musicals. She is a member of the varsity Quiz Bowl team, participates in Science Olympiad competitions, and is involved in both Book Club and Roots & Shoots.
Outside of school, Sienna is active in the Dauphin County Friendship 4-H Club and participates in the Pennsylvania Farm Show and the Bloomsburg Fleece to Shawl competition. She earned Best Spinner honors in 2024 and 2025 at Bloomsburg and received two first-place awards at the Farm Show. She is also active with the Elizabethtown Mountain Bike Club and has placed among the top five in various races.
Sienna is employed as a bakery associate at the Giant Food Stores bakery in Elizabethtown and volunteers with Blessings of Hope.
Following graduation, Sienna plans to attend college to pursue degrees in Urban Planning and Environmental Studies, with the goal of working in advocacy related to urbanism.
Francis is the son of Kenny and Paula Burke.

Francis is a dedicated student-athlete who has demonstrated excellence both academically and athletically throughout high school. He is a member of the National Honor Society, an organization that recognizes students who exemplify the four pillars of scholarship, leadership, service, and character, and has maintained a 4.0 GPA.
Within the school community, Francis has served on the Talent Show Committee and was selected as a member of the 2025 Homecoming Court. Francis is a four-year varsity letter winner in wrestling and has earned numerous accomplishments in the sport. He is a three-time champion of the Governor Mifflin Holiday Wrestling Tournament, a two-time Lancaster-Lebanon League Champion, and a two-time PIAA District 3 Section 2 Champion. He was also a 2026 district place winner and state qualifier.
Beyond school, Francis is actively involved in serving the community. He volunteers with the Elizabethtown Train Guys, assists as a volunteer coach for the Rheems Athletic Association Rookie Rugby program and the Elizabethtown Mat Club, and supports various wrestling team service projects, including tournament set-up, Earth Day clean-up efforts, and farm work moving hay bales.
Francis has also gained professional experience through an internship with the Wrestlers in Business Network in Lancaster. He previously worked as a customer service representative at Adventure Sports in Hershey and also serves as a soccer and rugby referee. Francis volunteers at Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren.
Following graduation, Francis plans to attend Franklin & Marshall College, where he will continue his wrestling career.
