Elizabethtown Area High School Honors Nine Seniors Committing to Collegiate Athletics

Nine senior varsity athletes from Elizabethtown Area High School officially took the next step in their athletic and academic journeys during a special Athlete Recognition Day ceremony held on Wednesday, February 4. Surrounded by family members, teammates, friends, and coaches, each student-athlete confirmed their commitment to compete in collegiate athletics.

During the ceremony, the athletes were individually recognized and announced the colleges and universities where they will continue their education and athletic careers next fall. The event celebrated not only their success in high school sports but also the dedication, discipline, and perseverance required to reach the collegiate level, an achievement attained by only about 7 percent of high school athletes nationwide.

Elizabethtown Area High School is proud to recognize the following student-athletes:

  • Colin Bomboy – Lacrosse – Widener University
  • Cora Gage – Soccer – Lycoming University
  • Reid Gilmore – Swimming – Juniata College
  • Ava Glick – Lacrosse – Bloomsburg University
  • Kylie Hein – Soccer – Alvernia University
  • Matthew Kerin – Volleyball – Grove City College
  • Paige Riegler – Softball – Penn State Harrisburg
  • Ellia Spang – Volleyball – Messiah University
  • Chloe Wilkinson – Softball – Shippensburg University

These student-athletes exemplify commitment, resilience, and leadership both on and off the field. Elizabethtown Area High School congratulates each of them on this significant accomplishment and looks forward to following their continued success at the collegiate level.
