Elizabethtown Area High School is proud to announce that its theatre program has received ten nominations and two honorable mentions from the Hershey Theatre Apollo Awards for its 2025-2026 school year productions, Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical and Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic.

The nominations are as follows:

• Outstanding Musical: Frozen
• Outstanding Student Orchestra: Frozen
• Outstanding Dance Number in a Musical: “Fixer Upper”
• Outstanding Lead Actress in a Musical: Josephine Sirinides as Anna in Frozen
• Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical: Ben Creason as Hans
• Outstanding Featured Performer in a Musical: Audra Kuntz as Oaken
• Outstanding Featured Performer in a Musical: Avery Heckman as Queen Iduna
• Outstanding Featured Performer in a Musical: James Mott as Duke of Weselton
• Outstanding Featured Performer in a Play: Anika Walsh as Xavia Jones
• Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Play: Ben Creason as Cedric / Mr. Voldy

Honorable mentions include:

• Outstanding Lead Actress in a Musical: Makayla Weaver as Elsa in Frozen
• Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Play: Evie Kopp as Susie Bones / Harry

In addition, several students received special recognition. Annika Erikson and Laura Kleis were selected as Opening Number participants, and Livi White and Garrett Messick were named recipients of the Spirit of Theater Award.

The Hershey Theatre Apollo Awards celebrate excellence in high school theater across Central Pennsylvania, recognizing the talent, dedication, and creativity of students and staff. These nominations reflect the significant commitment, collaboration, and passion demonstrated by the entire EAHS Theatre program.

The winners will be announced at the Hershey Theatre Apollo Awards Ceremony on Sunday, May 17, where members of the Frozen cast will reunite to perform on stage.
