Seven Elizabethtown Area High School Students Honored at LCCTC 2024 Awards Program

Seven students from Elizabethtown Area High School recently received prestigious honors from the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center (LCCTC) as part of the LCCTC's 2024 Awards Program. The award winners are as follows:

  • Jordan Anderson - Outstanding Student Award for the Materials Handling & Logistics program.
  • Abigail Hanlon - Ginny and Tony Gillespie Legacy Fund Workforce Grant, Student of Merit Award, and Faculty Fund Workforce Grant for the HVAC program.
  • Jaydin Horn - Outstanding Student for the Protective Services program.
  • Madison Johns - Award of Merit and American Red Cross Scholarship for the Advanced Health Careers program.
  • Jacob Miller - Outstanding Student for the Advanced Health Careers program.
  • Jesika Powers - Foundation Workforce Grant for the Welding Technology program.
  • Cooper VanArsdale - Foundation Workforce Grant for the Welding Technology program.

The LCCTC is a comprehensive vocational and technical education institution dedicated to providing career-focused education and training for high school students and adult learners. The center's mission is to prepare students for immediate entry into the workforce or further education by offering a wide range of programs in various fields.

Elizabethtown Area High School students can apply for various full-day and half-day cluster programs to meet their individual academic goals. Students have the opportunity to visit the LCCTC during tours in both eighth grade and eleventh grade.
