Elizabethtown Students Complete Lancaster Chamber's Discovering Paths Program

Seven Elizabethtown Area High School students have successfully completed the Lancaster Chamber's Discovering Paths program, a prestigious career exploration and mentoring initiative designed for high school juniors across Lancaster County. The participating students are Kendall Erdman, Makaylea Joiner, Edelewit Kedir, Djemba N'Kikwe, Taryn Pantenella, Laila Robinson, and Gavin Wertman.

Discovering Paths aims to inspire, guide, and empower students as they contemplate their future career paths. The program provides participants with positive one-on-one mentoring relationships with professionals from various industries within Lancaster County. Additionally, it offers critical business and industry connections and experiential learning opportunities that are invaluable for students' career development.

The program aligns seamlessly with the Elizabethtown Area School District's Life Ready Model, which equips students with the instruction, learning opportunities, and experiences needed to achieve their future goals. The District is committed to ensuring that graduates possess the knowledge, skills, social and emotional resilience, and civic awareness necessary to successfully pursue at least one of the following paths after high school:

  • Obtain a career that pays a livable wage.
  • Attend a postsecondary institution to further their education.
  • Seek an opportunity in our nation's armed forces.

The Elizabethtown Area School District is proud of our students' dedication and achievement in completing the Discovering Paths program.
