Our History
Established in 1989, the Elizabethtown Area Education Foundation has evolved alongside the needs of Elizabethtown Area School District students and schools.
The Foundation began by supporting student scholarships and providing discretionary assistance to students. Over time, its role has grown to include support for innovative programs, targeted fundraising, District-identified priorities, alumni engagement, and major initiatives that create lasting opportunities for EASD students.
Today, the Foundation continues to evolve through initiatives such as Think Big and a shared commitment to helping students succeed—both now and in the future.
Our Mission
The Elizabethtown Area Education Foundation supports Elizabethtown Area School District students, alumni, and community members in reaching their fullest potential through academics, the arts, athletics, activities, and programs that foster overall well-being and future success.
Our Vision
In partnership with the public and private sectors, the Elizabethtown Area Education Foundation financially supports creative and innovative programs and scholarships that enrich and enhance educational opportunities for Elizabethtown Area School District students.
Our Goals
The Elizabethtown Area Education Foundation is a community-based 501(c)(3) organization that financially enhances the goals of the Elizabethtown Area School District by supporting initiatives that benefit students.
The Foundation enriches student learning and well-being by:
- Supporting District initiatives and programs
- Encouraging instructional innovation
- Providing scholarships and financial assistance for students
- Developing and maintaining the District’s official alumni association
- Supporting capital projects and major fundraising efforts that strengthen EASD for the future
Foundation support is made possible through individual and corporate gifts, grants, tax-credit participation, fundraising events, and other community partnerships.
