The Elizabethtown Area School District Board of School Directors welcomes community members to attend its public meetings. Community members have several options for participating or staying informed, including attending in person, watching live on the District's Zoom channel, or viewing recorded meetings on the District's YouTube channel.

Meeting Types
The Board generally holds two types of meetings:
- Workshop Sessions: Workshop sessions are primarily educational and preparatory in nature. These meetings allow Board members to receive information, discuss issues, and explore topics in greater depth. Formal action is not typically taken during workshop sessions; however, when matters are time-sensitive, the Board may vote if necessary. Workshop sessions support informed decision-making at future meetings.
- Action Meetings: Action meetings are focused on formal decision-making. During these meetings, the Board considers and votes on matters such as policy approvals, budget actions, and other administrative items. Action meetings reflect the outcomes of prior discussions and recommendations.
Live Stream and Meeting Recordings
The EASD School Board provides live, view-only access to all public meetings to support transparency and community engagement. Meetings are streamed live online, and recordings are available on the District’s YouTube channel for up to one year.

Public Comment Information
Community members are provided an opportunity to address the Board during designated public comment periods at action meetings and workshop sessions. Information on public comment procedures, participation requirements, and written comment options is available below.
