    Mrs. Currier

I have been a substitute teacher in grades K-8 for 3 years in York and Lancaster Counties.

    I was born....

In Upstate New York.  I moved to Pennsylvania 5 years ago.

    I went to school...

I earned a Bachelor in Childhood Education through SUNY Plattsburgh, a Master's in Elementary Education through Walden University, and a graduate certificate in integrating technology in the classroom through Walden University.

If I were not a teacher...

I would work with animals.  My family has always had animals - dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, horses, cows and Llamas.

    I became a teacher...

Because I have always loved to teach.  I used to teach my stuffen animals when I was younger.

    My favorite teacher...

Was my first grade teacher, Mrs. Spear.  When I was older she would let me grade her papers and help decorate her classroom.

    My hobbies....

I love to read!  I always have several books going at the same time.  I love to read books that interest my students.  I enjoy when students recommend a favorite book for me to read!

    My vacation spot....

    Anywhere it is warm!
