I was born...

..in Upstate New York.  I moved to Pennsylvania in 2012.

I went to school...

...I earned a Bachelor's degree in Childhood Education through SUNY Plattsburgh, a Master's in Elementary Education through Walden University, and a graduate certificate in integrating technology in the classroom through Walden University.  I also completed a second master's degree at Wilkes University in instructional technology.

If I were not a teacher...

...I would work with animals.  My family has always had animals - dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, and horses.

I became a teacher...

...because I have always loved to teach.  I used to teach my stuffed animals when I was younger.

My favorite teacher...

...was my first-grade teacher, Mrs. Spear.  When I was older, she let me grade her papers and help decorate her classroom.

My hobbies...

I love to read!  I always have several books going on at the same time.  I love to read books that interest my students.  I enjoy when students recommend a favorite book for me to read!

My vacation spot...

Anywhere it is warm!
