Snack Calendars

  • Snack Guidelines

    Your family will be asked to provide a snack for the ENTIRE class. This will be approximately once every 4-5 weeks. I will provide you with a monthly snack calendar that has your child’s name on a specific day. If you would like to celebrate your child’s birthday on a specific day, you may request that! I will try to look at the birthday dates and accommodate their snack day to the closest school day possible. Here are some suggestions to keep in mind when providing a snack for students.

    1. Nutritious: Please provide a healthy snack such as fruit, crackers, pretzels, raisins, or vegetables. Please no peanuts or nuts!!
    2. Individually wrapped: Please send snacks in individual bags or their original wrappers. The purpose is the create a smooth, mess free and short snack time.
    3. Labels: If the food item is not in its original container, please provide a list of the ingredients used. This is to ensure that there are no harmful ingredients that a student(s).
    4. Summer birthdays: Students who have a summer birthday will be able to celebrate in May/June.
