    Block 1 - Planning/Prep Time

    Block 2 - Oceanography

    Course Description;

    Using an inquiry-based approach, this course introduces students to topics in Physical, Chemical, Geological, and Biological Oceanography. Students will gain an understanding of the dynamic systems and relationships that exist within the ocean environment, as well as the role of the oceans as part of the earth system.

    Block 3 - Honors General Science

    Course Description;

    This high school level general science honors course will introduce students to the nature of science with a balance of topics related to Chemistry, Biology, and Earth Science. Through various instructional methods, including lab investigations and hands-on activities, students will strengthen key skills, such as interpreting data, reading graphs, and taking measurements.  This course is designed to provide a foundational study of science to prepare all students for the array of high school science courses. You will be expected in this HONORS LEVEL course to be self directed and responsible for your learning of the materials, including outside the classroom research.

    Block 4 - General Science

    Course Description;

    This high school level general science course will introduce students to the nature of science with a balance of topics related to Chemistry, Biology, and Earth Science.
