I have been teaching in many different capacities over the past 10 years. In that time, I have taught kindergarten and first grade, and have been a long-term substitute in second, fifth, and sixth grade. This is my seventh year teaching at Bear Creek.

My elementary teachers inspired me to join the teaching profession.

    I went to school/college...
I graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University (now called Cairn University) in 2009 with my bachelor's degree, and I earned my master's degree in Language and Literacy from Millersville University in 2017.

What I did when I was in school....

I always begged my teachers to stay in from recess to help them in the classroom.

In my free time, I love to read, take walks, go bowling, play field hockey, spend time with my family, take pictures, and be creative in various ways.

    I love to....

Travel: My travels took me to teach in Puerto Rico (student teaching) and Uganda (first grade). I’ve also traveled to Romania, Bermuda, The Bahamas, and the Eastern & Southern Caribbean, as well as numerous states in the United States.

    My favorite food....

My favorite meal is Gene Wenger's hamloaf and mac & cheese with a side of peas and carrots.

    Fun Fact...

I do not drink coffee at all!
