    I was born in....

    In good ol' Elizabethtown, Pa!

    I went to school/college....

I went to school/college at Slippery Rock University of PA for Elementary and Special Education. I am currently working on my Master's in Special Education.

    My family....

loves to travel! My husband is a pilot and farmer. We enjoy watching our son Jacob grow and learn! Our two black labs, Jojo and Janey also keep us entertained!

    When I was in school....

I always made it a goal to get onto the mile shoes in the gymnasium, just like my older sister!

If I were not a teacher I would be....

I would be a scientist. I’m not sure what type exactly, but discovery is an awesome feeling, and I am always asking questions to find out more about what I don't know.

    I became a teacher because....

I love to learn and love being a big kid. I’ve never lost my sense of curiosity and hope that my love of learning inspires my students!

    My favorite teacher was....

Mrs. Alleman in 5th grade. She made us feel proud to show our hard work, which motivated us to push ourselves.

    I am interested in....

    Hobbies.....Camping, scrapbooking and photography

Sports....Field hockey, wrestling, Penn State football. I'm still learning to ski.

Books.... The Harry Potter Series and anything a friend recommends.
Movies....  Pixar Movies  (Finding Nemo, Monsters, INC, Cars)

    I love to vacation....

anywhere! We love to find new little places to travel to in our plane. We don't get away from the farm for long trips, so little weekends are usually an adventure when we can get away!

    My favorite foods....

I'll eat just about anything, but I LOVE hibachi!

I would most like to meet....

I would most like to meet Audrey Hepburn.  She was a graceful woman who used her power to accomplish things bigger than herself.
