Mrs. Alicia Sterner ~ Fifth Grade TeacherSterner Family
I started my teaching career in Lower Dauphin School District. I taught 3rd grade and loved it so much that I stayed in this grade level for 8 years! My husband, Brad, and I met at Lower Dauphin when we were both teachers there. Once I received my Masters Degree, I decided to take on a new challenge and become a reading specialist. As a reading specialist, I have worked with students at the elementary and middle school level. After taking a couple of years off to be at home with my daughter, I took a part-time position as a reading specialist in Hempfield School District. This enabled me to spend more time with my daughter, Addison. Then, in 2013, my daughter and I both started a new chapter together in Elizabethtown Area School District- her as a student and me as a fifth grade teacher. Go BEARS!
