This is my 12th year in Etown and my 7th year as a kindergarten teacher. I have previously taught learning support and autistic support.
I was raised in Langhorne, PA (Bucks County), where I lived with my mom, dad, brother and many pets!
I attended Neshaminy School District for my entire K-12 school career and graduated in 2004.
I graduated from Millersville University in December 2008 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education (K-6) and a Bachelor's in Special Education (K-12).
I received my Master's in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University in August 2013. I am currently pursuing a second Master's in Instructional Technology, also through Wilkes University!
I currently live in Lancaster with my husband Mario, son Leo, and daughter Evelyn.
I decided to become a teacher because I love helping children succeed. It is so rewarding and motivating to see students light up when they learn something new or get excited about a subject area. I also love building a family community in my classroom! It is my goal to make my students feel welcomed and cared for every time they step through my doors!
If I were not a teacher, I would work with animals, preferably marine mammals. Whales are my favorite animal!
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, reading, traveling, exercising and watching movies.
