Message from the Principal

  • July 2019

    Dear Rheems Families,

I am excited and looking forward to making a positive difference in the lives of your children.  We will strive to meet the needs of all the students and maintain personal connections with the families of our school community.  Our goal is for students to be 21st-century learners that will communicate effectively, think critically, collaborate and be creative.

Our overall theme for the 2019-2020 school year will be ‘Rheems Leaders are Going Places’ (it will be a Travel/Adventure theme).   You will notice hallways and classrooms decorated with this theme in mind.  We will include the theme in many of the things we do throughout the school year.

Don’t forget to attend Back to School Nights -

    • Kindergarten parents/guardians should attend on Thursday, August 15 at 6:30 pm.
    • Parents/guardians of grades 1 - 3 should attend on Thursday, September 12 at 7:00 pm. (More information will be provided about this night once school begins)

I look forward to working together to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential.  We continue to be centered around student learning, achievement, and growth. In order to be successful in school, our children need support from both home and school.  A strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. Please review the other important information included in this mailing.
