I am currently a sixth grade Reading and Communication Arts teacher at the Bear Creek School. I have been a teacher in the Elizabethtown Area School District since 1988.  I taught 7th grade Comm. Arts for 12 years before moving to teaching sixth grade.  My undergraduate degree is from Penn State University, my major being English and secondary education.  My master's degree in elementary education is from Millersville University. I have 24 credits in education from Millersville beyond my master's degree.

I am blessed to have a wonderful family.  My husband, John, is the food service director for EASD, and we have three terrific daughters - Maureen, Michelle, and Molly.  We also have two adorable Jack Russell terriers named Winnie and Atty.

In the summer of 2010, a dream of mine came true as my family went on a big vacation to the Grand Canyon, Phoenix, and Sedona in Arizona.  It was my first time out west, and we had a fabulous time!
