    First Marking Period

    • At least 2 finished writing pieces (Type 3 or 4) per marking period (cover all by PSSA’s)
      choose from:
      •    narrative
      •    informational
      •    persuasive
      Daily writing including:
      •    Journal prompt
      •    Poetry
      •    Friendly letter    •    Opinion paragraph
      •    How-to-paragraph
      •    Compare/contrast    •    Cause/effect
      •    Problem/solution

    Second Marking Period

    • At least 2 finished writing pieces (Type 3 or 4) per marking period (all kinds by PSSA in Feb.) choose from:
