    Help your child with his or her math facts by using flashcards, fact games, or computer programs.  I found the websites below to be especially helpful.  www.themathworksheetsite.com    This site allows parents to create worksheets for their 3rd graders.  You can choose the operation and number of fact problems.  Print off the worksheets to practice timed fact tests at home. 
    Math Fact Sites
    1. www.mathfactcafe.com   Students can play games, and parents can create printable worksheets for their children.  Another terrific feature is the availability of printable flashcards.  
    2. www.fun4thebrain.com  This site has fantastic games for practicing facts and other math concepts.  It is recommended by my former 3rd graders.  
    3. www.studyisland.com  All 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders at East High spend time each week working on math concepts using Study Island.  This website is PSSA prep site that can be used at home or in school.  All concepts available for study are eligible content on the 3rd grade PSSA.  Each student has their own user name and password.  Your child should know his or her log-in information.

    Telling Time Sites

    1. Stop the Clock Game- A game to practice telling time in five minute intervals on an analog clock.
    2. Bang on Time- A game to practice matching the time written in word form to an analog clock. 
    3. On Time- Set the clock to a given time.  Four different levels to practice various skills.
    4. Stop the Clock Game- Match analog and digital clocks in a timed game. 
     5. Snap Dragon- Practice setting an analog clock to a given time.
    6. Stop the Clock Game- Match analog and digital clocks using time to the nearest minute. 
    7. Count on It- Find clocks that match specific telling time terms like "quarter til" and "half past."
    Money Sites
    1.  Count On It- Buy items by finding the correct amount of money to match the price.
    2. Cash Out- Practice making change.  Three different levels available for practice. 
    3. Count the Money- Practice counting coins by using problem solving strategies.
