    Mrs. Gerber has taught in Elizabethtown for over 20 years.
    She has taught Kindergarten, second, third, and fourth grades.

    Pittsfield, Massachusetts


    I went to school/college....
    New York / Bainbridge Elementary/ Elizabethtown H.S. / Millersville University

    If I were not a teacher....
    be a photographer.

    I became a teacher because....
    My kindergarten teacher (who was from Sweden and had long blonde braids) became a U.S.citizen. She gave us all cupcakes with American flags on top. I wanted to be a teacher ever since!

    My favorite teacher was....
    Mrs. Heilner! She loved books as much as I did. She had us write a mystery- I loved that!

    While in school....
    I was a cheerleader, basketball manager, yearbook, participated in powderpuff football and was on the prom committee.

    I am interested in ....
    My favorite book is any books written by the authors Jonathan Kellerman and Cathy Lamb. I also love the book 32 Third graders and One Class Bunny!

    My favorite movie is Steel Magnolias .
    I love all music! I especially love music by Elton John, Norah Jones, and John Mayer.
    My favorite teams are the Yankees, Steelers, and Penn State. And whoever my sons are playing for during that season. Jake plays lacrosse and Caleb plays soccer.  I love to cheer for them!

    I enjoy taking pictures, reading, playing cards and traveling with my family!

    My favorite food....
    Filet mignon and pizza! I love to eat at Little Italy in Bainbridge.


    I love to vacation....
    I love to travel anywhere, but I especially love to visit Canada with my family and go to Ocean City, New Jersey to eat Manco & Manco's pizza.   My family also loves to go to our cabin in Benezette, Pennsylvania.  There are elk that walk right through our yard!
